Refund policy

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you can exchange it or return it for a refund or store credit under the conditions below:

Return window

Items can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery*
Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with original tags and packaging
Items must be sent back within 14 days of notifying us of your decision to return or withdraw.
*Return window is extended to 30 days for orders placed in August and December

Return shipping cost

European Union: returns are free (one free return per order). We also cover one exchange shipment per order.
Outside the European Union: you pay return shipping to Italy. Cost depends on package size and weight.
- United States: typical minimum USD $60, confirmed with your return label, deducted from your refund
- Canada: typical minimum CAD $70, confirmed with your return label, deducted from your refund
- Other non-EU destinations: cost confirmed with your return label and deducted from your refund
Returning goods to Europe has a real freight cost. These figures reflect typical carrier pricing.

Exceptions

Fragrances (cologne and reed diffuser) once they are opened: not exchangeable or refundable
Outside the EU: Sale or promotion purchases: store credit or exchange only (not a cash refund)

Exchanges

Request size or color exchange when you open the return in the Return Center, or email order@theploumanach.com with your order number and the item you want

Refunds

European Union (right of withdrawal): refunds within 14 days of us receiving the returned items (or proof of return, whichever is earlier). We refund the standard outbound shipping cost. Premium or express upgrades are non-refundable.
All other returns: refunds within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the return
Refunds go to the original payment method
Outside the EU: original outbound shipping is non-refundable. Eligible item value is refunded; return shipping (including the minimums above) is deducted
Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund

Gift cards

Gift cards cannot be canceled, returned, or cashed out, except where local law requires it
Returns paid with gift card credit are refunded to the gift card
Mixed payments are split: gift card portion back to the card, the rest to the other method
